What is Snug Stories?
Snug Stories uses AI to create personalized bedtime stories for your child. Each story is unique — featuring your child as the hero, with custom cover art and audio narration.
How does it work?
Enter your child's name, age, and appearance, choose a theme and optional life topics (like first day of school or fear of the dark), and our AI creates a unique rhyming bedtime story in seconds. You can also generate a quick random story with one click.
What kinds of stories can it create?
Fairy tales, space adventures, underwater worlds, magical forests, dinosaur discoveries, superhero missions, and more. We also have 50+ life topics that gently address things like potty training, sharing, anxiety, and making friends.
Pricing & Features
Is it free?
Yes! The free tier gives you 10 stories per day with all core features: custom characters, audio narration, PDF download, and story saving (30 days). Premium ($4.99/month) removes ads, cooldowns, and adds permanent storage.
What does Premium include?
15 stories/day with no cooldowns, ad-free experience, 5 custom AI cover arts/day, permanent story library, story continuity (adventures build on past stories), and early access to new features. Visit our Shop for details.
Safety & Privacy
Is it safe for children?
Absolutely. All stories are designed to be age-appropriate, calming, and educational. Every story passes through our AI safety filter and content review system. Each story concludes with an important life lesson.
How is my child's data protected?
We follow COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) guidelines. Character details are used only for story personalization, never sold or shared. Saved stories auto-delete after 30 days (free tier). See our Privacy Policy for details.
Are stories copyrighted?
Under current US law, AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection. Stories are provided for personal and family use. The Snug Stories brand, website, and platform are owned by Cooper Studios, LLC. See our Terms of Service.

Can I save and share stories?
Yes! After generating a story, click "Save & Share" to get a unique link you can share with family. You can also download a print-friendly PDF.
Can stories be read aloud?
Yes. Every story has audio narration with multiple voice options (male and female), adjustable speed, and pause/resume controls. Perfect for hands-free bedtime.
Can I print stories as real books?
Yes! After saving a story, you'll see a "Print as Book" option that connects you to our printing partner. Custom storybooks, t-shirts, and more are available.
What languages are available?
Stories can be generated in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, and Arabic.
